Advident
Advident was founded in July 2015 from the Utrechtse Biologen Vereniging (Utrecht Biologists Association). We are a non-profit student consultancy agency with the sole purpose to introduce beta students to their soon-to-be working field. We do so by training students and expanding their professional network and working experience with socio-economically relevant cases. Our organization has been officially recognized by the Utrecht University as we have proven to contribute greatly to students’ professional development. Over the last few years, we have provided multiple cases for UU-courses with third parties such as Philips, Rabobank and the City of Utrecht.
What can we do for you?
As a currently active partner in multiple courses within the faculty beta-sciences, we provide relevant cases from companies, NGO’s and other organizations for students to work on. Real-time cases help students connect their academic knowledge to what is happening (commercially, legislatively and policy-wise) in their field of expertise and enhance students’ motivation. By finding cases that fit perfectly within the give course, students tend to be more involved, gain knowledge much quicker and in the meantime professionalize themselves in their field of expertise. For every UU-course, we personally take care of the acquisition of relevant cases from organizations within (or outside of) our network and maintain contact with the client.
